FAQ

What is the cost of your HR advisory services?

Our advisory services are offered either on a project basis or on a retainer basis, with a specified scope and fixed-fee pricing. We offer very cost-effective solutions so you can focus on building your business. Following our initial consultation, we provide a written proposal clearly outlining the deliverables and fixed-fee pricing.

Can RS Hunter recruit or headhunt employees for us?

Yes, we work with our clients to ensure their hiring process is structured and well-timed to suit their hiring needs. For clients who desire increased involvement in the recruitment process, we offer additional cost-effective hiring services such as screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, recommending a shortlist of candidates for the client to interview in person, conducting reference checks and making the job offers.

What types of organisations do you work with?

We provide a range of HR services to both Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME’s), national and multinational companies working in Nigeria (with offices in neighbouring West African countries) and support all businesses irrespective of the industry or sector.

For in-house (on-site) training do you charge by the learner?

Yes. RS Hunter charges by the learner irrespective of whether the training is open to the public or conducted in-house.  However, please note that in-house training courses have been found to be a cost-effective solution for organisations that are looking to train between 6 to 20 people as courses can be tailored to suit the specific needs of the organisation and can be conducted at a time and venue proposed by the client thereby offering a higher level of flexibility.

I am a job seeker. Will I have to pay RS Hunter any fees if I successfully secure a job by applying for a vacancy on the job site?

No. Job seekers/candidates do not pay RS Hunter any fees before, during or after job placement.

Can I submit the hard copy of my CV/Resume?

Regrettably, we do not accept paper copies of CV’s. We encourage job seekers to submit their CV’s on the RS Hunter job site which automatically adds your details to our extensive database thereby increasing your chances of being matched with suitable job openings as they become available.

Can I apply for an RS Hunter vacancy via a third-party website?

No. Unfortunately, we do not have any plugins with third-party sites which will direct applications submitted outside of our job portal to our database. To apply for any RS Hunter vacancy which may be advertised on another company’s job or career site, please visit https://jobs.rs-hunter.com/.

I need personnel on a fixed-term basis. Can RS Hunter provide us with skilled professionals and manage them on our behalf?

Yes we can. Some companies recognise that they do not have the in-house HR resources required nor adequate knowledge of applicable local regulations to effectively manage their people. In such instances, we can either take over their existing employees or where the business is yet to commence identify personnel within our database with the requisite skills who can be immediately recruited and mobilised to support our client’s operations. Whether on a short-term or long-term basis, we ensure our outsourced staff do not feel neglected by us thus remaining motivated and engaged which in turn drives performance and increases overall productivity.

I attended an interview with RS Hunter recruiters. When should I expect feedback?

A significant number of interviews conducted by RS Hunter are on behalf of our client(s). While we endeavour to give candidates timely feedback on the outcome of interviews; the final decision on candidate suitability is made by the client and as such we are unable to provide you with feedback until we hear from them. Please be rest assured that we will notify you as soon as we are able to.

My company would like to use RS Hunter’s services but we are not based in Lagos or Abuja. Will you be willing to work with us?

RS Hunter currently supports numerous businesses across various locations in Nigeria and West Africa. We are continuously expanding our reach and would be happy to hear from prospective clients who are based in locations where we do not currently have offices. Over the years we have established working relationships with companies that have offices across Nigeria and other African countries (Ghana, Cameroon, Republic of Benin and South Africa) and are privileged to have space usage agreements with them. Alternatively, if so desired, we are also fully resourced to set up within the client’s office.
